Why study Logistics Management?
The study of Logistics stimulates interdisciplinary thought and analysis, exploring the fields of Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Economics, and Social and Organizational theories.

Why study Logistics Management at BIU's Department of Management? 

Because of our exceptional department
Bar-Ilan University BA study track in Logistics was established in 1989, the first of its kind in Israel, and has grown significantly since then.  Today, it is the only Management Department in the country to offer a PhD study track in Logistics Management. It is also one of BIU's largest academic departments.

The Department of Management offers BA, MA and PhD study tracks in Logistics Management including MA study tracks in the Executive Program, in Industrial Management, and an MHA (Management of Health Systems – with a Public Health Major). 

Ours is currently the only department in Israel offering a PhD study track in Logistics. It is also one of Bar-Ilan University's largest departments.

The Department of Management's faculty includes highly accopmlished reserachers and professors. Our faculty members provide personal and professional support to each of the students throughout their studies, and offer a variety of exclusive research and academic advancement options.

Because our curriculum, especially designed for working students
All of our study tracks enable students to work full time. MA study tracks without thesis last only one year, and the MA study track with thesis lasts two years. Classes are held on Thursdays and Fridays.

Because only we offer MA and PhD degrees in Logistics Management
Logistics Management Studies at Bar-Ilan University impart students with comprehensive academic and professional knowledge of management, logistics and economics, combined with logistic core subjects, information systems and introduction to various related fields. BIU is one of the only academic institutions in Israel to offer study tracks in Logistics Management, and the only one to offer advanced degrees in this field.  The degree in Logistics Management aims to satisfy the need for professional executives, lecturers and researchers in the most rapidly growing field in today's industrial and commercial markets.
