Why study for an International B.A. for Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at BIU?
Because it's the only Program of its kind in the country
Bar-Ilan University is among the top 5 undergraduate schools in the country. Since the inception of the Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Program in 1974, it has become one of the most popular tracks studied at the University. With an emphasis on Economics, Political Studies and Sociology, the Interdisciplinary Social Sciences B.A. Program is the only one of its kind in Israel.
Because the Program is designed for overseas students in Israel
Bar-Ilan has recently decided to open a new track within the B.A. study track in social sciences, to enable students to participate in this already renowned discipline entirely in English. This enables Anglo students who wish to pursue a highly coveted degree at Bar-Ilan, but have not yet mastered the Hebrew language. The Program includes Hebrew language Ulpan, field trips, and other social activities to provide students with a first-hand experience of Israeli culture.
Because of the excellent faculty
Over the course of 3 years of study, students will receive the highest quality education from Israel's top professors in their respective fields.
Because of the versatile curriculum
The Program can be combined with various Jewish-studies' courses at the University's Jesselson Institute for Advanced Torah Studies for men or Midrasha for women (optional). Excelling Program graduates will be eligible to apply for Bar-Ilan's one-year, English-language International MBA Program without having to take the GMAT.
