The Lookstein Center provides Jewish educators worldwide with unique opportunities to network, interact, learn and grow. This influential institute is melding a rich educational and spiritual partnership between Israel and the Diaspora through innovative programming, professional expertise, quality resources and modern technology.
At Lookstein, we are creating a community of Jewish educators for the 21st century. The Center’s activities concentrate on the following:
· A Virtual Resource Center: A website for online interaction, information sharing and networking amongst Jewish educators. The site includes podcasts and virtual “classrooms”, in which educators connect and learn together via cutting-edge technologies.
· Programs focusing on issues of leadership in education, particularly for day schools.
· A professional journal and a variety of other publications for Jewish educators.
· Customized curriculum development, school evaluations and consultations for the improvement of Jewish education in specific school settings.
