The Atidim Program for Science and English Instruction is intended for high school graduates, and is offered as part of the IDF's Academic Reserve Program. The Atidim Program's objective is to support the Education System in peripheral towns by training sciences and English teachers. Program participants study in a three year (rather than the usual four year) track, to obtain their Teacher's Certificate + a full BA in one of the following: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, English.
Program graduates serve in the IDF as school teachers in peripheral towns and in IDF's colleges.
Registration for this program is done via the Academic Reserve Program, and requires meeting admission prerequisites.
