The goal of Bar-Ilan University organization is to sustain the University as an institution for higher education in order to nurture and advance education and research in all fields of the Torah and science, in the spirit of Jewish religion and traditions.
The Board of Trustees is the highest institution of the organization. Among its duties is to outline the financial policy of the University and its goals, approve its budgets, oversee its management, goal reaching and advancement.
The Board of Trustees is the University’s link to the Diaspora Jewry, and it encourages its action among the University’s friends in Israel and abroad.
The Board of Trustees appoints the President, the comptroller, the legal advisor and the accountant of the University and holds the residual authority in all matters of the University that were not included in the regulations of any other institution or authority.
