Bar-Ilan is committed to conducting the highest levels of responsible and ethical research. Our compliance policies and procedures are designed to reflect our core values, and our adherence to legal and regulatory statutes. Furthermore, our management of research grant funding - from both private and public sources - is scrutinized by our funding sponsors through periodic audits and controls. Prudent management of these funds helps maximize our research outcomes and achieve high standards of research integrity, especially with regard to the protection of research subjects (both human and animal). This management also minimizes cases of scientific misconduct, research fraud, and institutional mismanagement.
As an active participant in European Research Framework Programs, Bar-Ilan University (BIU) is committed to implementing the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers under the Charter & Code (C&C). Our HR strategy is described in the attached table, and is designed to ensure that we can implement the C&C principles as found in the Declaration of The Israeli Forum of Vice Presidents for Research.
